CRIKEY—NOT ANOTHER DOT COM!

One thing the Internet allows you to do is to publish your own opinions. But just because they’re published doesn’t make them any more authoritative or interesting than if they had remained unpublished. However you stand to gain a potential audience from zero to billion, and I suppose that’s got to be good for the ego. I hate to tell you this but in the next few weeks I am about to publish mine. Stay tuned (if that’s what you do on the Internet). I hope you like my funny bits and don’t take life too seriously. I hope you like what I (we) do enough to give us some interesting work. I have called my BLOG column “DON”T ASSUME THAT” - ASSUME —the art of making n ASS out of U and ME.

Ironbark Information is the rehabilitative work of Peter Galvin - writer, correspondent and general literae scriptae.

I aim to highlight some of my thoughts, examples of my work and expression from others I think worthwhile. I hope you like it.

I chose it as a project set for me by my occupational Rehab worker after I had a stroke. I had lost my computer and creative abilities and so I chose to learn something I knew little about but was interested in —web site design and generally writing and designing. I am pleased to say many of my old skills came back along with many new ones.
